After twelve years of working, I took a break to return to school and learn new skills to help entrepreneurs scale their businesses. I invested time and money to expand my skillsets, broaden my perspectives, and enhance my capacity for generating innovative ideas.

In Bangladesh, my learning experience had been one-sided, with teachers lecturing and students taking notes to prepare for exams. We would memorize entire concepts and theories before the exams. However, the data analytics and project management classes were different. The teacher engaged us with real-world projects and facilitated the practical application of concepts during class. I admire this approach to learning; I felt like the classroom was a playground.

The class encouraged collaboration with fellow students, and we acted as a project analyst team. I was fortunate to be the team leader, and we used tools like Trello to manage our projects. It was a fantastic learning experience. This class made me feel like I was working with a team in a real workplace, learning and implementing new skills in our operations.

I miss those days with Mike and admire the processes he implemented in our office—learning and applying new strategies. Learning together as a team is the most impactful way to achieve success. Thank you, Mike, for inspiring me to learn more and work smarter. I appreciate and respect you.

I also appreciate our teacher, Dr. Basir, for his support and assistance in the classroom. I am grateful for those Friday mornings I spent building new skills and gaining new perspectives from his expertise. I will never forget the teamwork with my classmates.
