I had the opportunity to attend London Enterprise Edge on August 2nd, hosted by Innovation Northumbria: Northumbria University’s Start-Up Incubator, and it was a truly inspiring experience. The event focused on developing entrepreneurial skills and supporting those who are exploring start-ups, self-employment, or freelancing.

Throughout the day, we walked through the entire start-up journey; from identifying real problems to designing solutions. We explored how to shape a business model, define a strong value proposition (USB: Unique Selling Benefits), create a brand identity, build customer personas, design a go-to-market strategy, and gather insights through customer surveys.

It was a full day of learning, collaboration, and creativity, filled with practical activities, knowledge sharing, and meaningful networking. I left with valuable insights that I am excited to apply as I continue my own entrepreneurial journey.
